Whereas with modern cheese graters you need to rest them on a board or plate, in order to catch the cheese, these have their own olive wood collecting box. You can sit, in true 'nonna' style with the grater in your lap and grate your cheese whilst drinking coffee and chatting with your family and friends.

They come in three different sizes and are suitable for grating all types of cheese, especially Parmesan, as well as other things such as bread, vegetables and spices. Many people have all three sizes, using the large one for vegetables and bread, the middle one for cheese in general and the small one for Parmesan and spices. The added bonus is that these olive wood and Italian stainless steel cheese graters look very smart displayed in your kitchen.

These olive wood products are hand made and consequently, each piece is completely unique and will vary slightly to the one represented in these photographs.

When your Olive Wood products arrive they will be covered in a coating of olive oil but will soon dry out naturally. It is advisable to coat them regularly with olive oil in order to stop them drying out completely.
